unboxed art show promo

Feb. 2 – April 5 – Blank Canvas: Unboxed art exhibit

Instead of providing canvases for our 4th annual blank canvas exhibit, we have challenged artists of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels to source their own canvases from repurposed packaging. Over 30 artists have met that challenge, upcycling cardboard boxes, cold-food insulation, paint cans, oil barrels and much more. Come experience how they have evolved the ordinary into the extraordinary by transforming trash into treasure.

Visit:

  • 2nd Saturday Open House, Feb. 10th & March 9th – 10am-2pm (Free holiday card making station)
  • Weekdays 10am-4pm (and by appointment) – closed on Federal Holidays

🌟 Join us for a Fun Date Night at the Downtown Vision Board Workshop! 🌟

Because February’s DateNight Downtown event of Upcycling Cigar Boxes event had to be cancelled due to snow, we are merging it with our Vision Board workshop. Participants have a choice of creating a values-based vision board to hang up or transform a cigar box into a personalized treasure chest to fill with mementos.

Our DateNight Downtown events are an opportunity to share a special evening with someone special – be it a romantic partner, friend, or family member. WORK_SPACE is thrilled to partner with our neighbors:

  • The Main Course restaurant who will bring over specialty cocktails to sample &
  • Urban Lodge Brewing, who is offering everyone a $2 off coupon for a drink after the workshop.

Led by Artist-in-Residence Kim Desrosiers and WORK_SPACE Manager and Life & Leadership Coach, Dr. Stacey Zackin who will guide you through a unique experience, helping you craft an inspiring collage that reflects the things you both value and want in your life.

No artistic skills required and ALL supplies provided – however, we encourage you to bring copies of personal photographs, ticket stubs, or inspiring images that you might want to include.

Bonus: You get to hang out in a cool downtown art gallery on Main Street. After the workshop, explore nearby restaurants and breweries for a chill evening.

Come and enjoy a relaxed evening creating something special together. Reserve your spot for just $38 per couple.

And if you sign up before March 5th, it’s only $30 per couple. It’s a budget-friendly way to have a great night out!
