Business professionals now have a new place to network, at the Beer & Business happy hour. The event hosted at WORK_SPACE in Manchester; 903 Main Street. The monthly happy hour kicked off earlier this month and will continue every first Thursday of the month from 5 to 6pm. “It’s kind of give and take, a win/win. They [local breweries, wineries and restaurants] bring us free things and we increase awareness of their business, as well as providing a service and added value to our members by giving them an event they can invite their network to,” said WORK_SPACE Program Manager Stacey Zackin.

WORK_SPACE, in Manchester, is having its official relaunch event on Jan. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 903 Main St. The free event is open to the public and will serve as a chance for the community to become familiar with the coworking space. “It’s exciting that the town of Manchester supports this effort,” said Stacey Zackin, manager of WORK_SPACE. “We like to describe ourselves as the premier meeting and coworking space east of the river.”

WORK_SPACE, in Manchester, has been renovated and has unique artwork on the walls. Artist [and WORK_SPACE member] Christiane O’Brien is the curator for the gallery. O’Brien and other artists are showcased on the second floor. She said she wants to use the gallery as an opportunity for young creatives to express themselves. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. WORK_SPACE is located at 901 Main St. and will have a grand opening in the new year.
