We really loved being in the gallery all summer – and the staff could not have been better to work with. You made it a fun and creative place to be! Thank you for your help and guidance and for the friendly atmosphere you create at WORK_SPACE.Christine Larson
I held a company training there and the staff was amazing! They helped me sort out all the logistics and organized breakfast and lunch for the three days they hosted us. My favorite part about WORK_SPACE is how flexible they are. The training event was a success and I would rent space from them again!Tanya McNamar

A Manchester native, after 19 years in Los Angeles, I’m thrilled to be back in my hometown as both a resident and employee. I have the rare opportunity to apply the subject of my academic dissertation, “The Psychology of Hospitality: Creating Welcoming and Inclusive Environments,” to a professional environment. Here at WORK_SPACE, our team strives to create a welcoming, inclusive, and hospitable environment for the variety of individuals and organizations that meet, learn, create, and work here. Please feel free to call or email me directly via 860.647.6022, manager@WORKSPACEmanchester.com.
I love my job as I get to greet visitors and take care of our members here at WORK_SPACE where I wear many hats. I process membership agreements, meeting space reservations, and building maintenance requests. I keep our accounts and calendar up to date when I’m not giving tours to the interesting people who walk in every day to inquire about a Coworking membership, a meeting space venue, or to view the amazing art we have throughout the building. When I take those hats off, I put on my swimsuit and go to my other job, teaching swimming and water aerobics to adults through Manchester’s Department of Family, Leisure, and Recreation.
I work on social media marketing, program development, and brand engagement at WORK_SPACE. My background is in Environmental Science, where I earned a degree from the University of Vermont. I have worked in non-profit management, focused on building sustainable food systems, for a number of years. Now, I am excited to be involved with the community here. Coworking centers are innovative resources for local business; that provide affordable office space along with critical tools for business development. When I am not at work, you can find me hiking, skiing, mountain biking, or gardening.
